This Privacy Policy explains how SiteOfficeIQ ("SiteOfficeIQ," "we") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the SiteOfficeIQ platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. For information your business (our "Customer") enters about its own employees and contractors, the Customer is the controller of that data and SiteOfficeIQ processes it on the Customer's behalf.
Account information: name, email, phone, company name, and role, provided when an account is created.
Customer Data: information you and your users submit to run your business — such as projects, estimates, schedules, time entries, documents, photos, and information about your workers and subcontractors (which may include their names, contact details, wages, and related records).
Billing information: subscription and payment details. Card payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
Usage and device information: log data, IP address, browser/device type, and actions taken in the Service, collected to operate, secure, and improve it.
Mobile app location: If you enable location on the SiteOfficeIQ mobile app, we collect your device's precise (GPS) location at the moment you clock in or out, solely to verify job-site presence. This location is not collected in the background, is not tracked over time, and is never used for advertising. You can decline the location permission and still use the rest of the app.
We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; to authenticate users; to process subscriptions and payments; to provide support; to send service-related communications; to detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and to comply with legal obligations. We may create anonymized, aggregated statistics that do not identify you or any individual.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers ("subprocessors") that help us run the Service — currently including Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), and Resend (transactional email) — under agreements that limit their use of the data to providing services to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law or valid legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice where required).
As between SiteOfficeIQ and the Customer, the Customer owns its Customer Data. Customers are responsible for providing any required notices to, and obtaining any required consents from, their employees and contractors regarding data entered into the Service, and for handling requests those individuals make about their data.
We retain Customer Data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account termination we may delete Customer Data after a reasonable period; export your data before then. We may retain limited records as required for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including per-tenant data isolation, encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use them to sell your data.
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. For account-holder data, contact us at info@siteofficeiq.com. For data your employer entered about you, please contact your employer (the controller of that data).
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated (e.g., in-app or by email). Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
